Question
In light of ongoing supply chain issues related, in part, to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic OEM build schedules and delivery time frames cannot be guaranteed at this time. We will make every effort to deliver a turnkey product as soon as possible from time of receipt of an order but any dates given are estimates only, not guarantees, and are subject to change at any time. Would the district consider changing the wording of "no later than 120 calendar days after receipt of purchase order” to “ no later than 250 days after receipt of purchase order" and " failure for companies to complete this deadline will result in liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per school bus past the 120th day as in previous specification” to $5.00 per school bus past the 250th"

Question
Would the district consider the proposer taking exception to the following?

“School Buses must be ready and totally operational in the District’s Transportation facilities no later than 120 calendar days after receipt of purchase order” to “ no later than 250 days after receipt of purchase order”
and “failure for companies to complete this deadline will result in liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per school bus past the 120th day as in previous specification” to $5.00 per school bus past the 250th day as in previous specification. Or completely omit this specification.

If Exception is not allowed would the district consider revising the wording of the above?
