This Notice of Intent is provided to advise that the Government awarded a Firm-Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with only one source that is Urgent and Compelling. the procurement is Urgent and Compelling, emergency backflow preventer for FPC Bryan. This is extreme urgent. This contract action is for a service for which the Government requested a quote from only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2(b), an unusual and compelling urgency precludes full and open competition and delay in award of a contract would result in serious injury, financial or other to the Government. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services.
