The George H. O'Brien, Jr. VA Medical Center Path Lab is looking for the purchase of a GeneXpert XVI 8-D Analyzer for rapid test kits for the National response for COVID-19.



This Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Cepheid due to the fact that the reagents and calibrators used for the GeneXpert XVI 8-D Analyzer are provided to each VA facility at a national level and must remain standarized in order to conduct testing.
