Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Contractor shall provide all services, equipment, labor, facilities, transportation and supervision to address our electronic security needs to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Houston Regional Office. This is a brand name or equal requirement. All equipment proposed must comply with the FIPS 201 Approved Product List Physical Access Control System Components.

SCOPE OF WORK

The contractor shall remove existing Continuum controllers, reader modules, and input modules
and replace with (1) Lenel Intelligent Controller, Reader Modules, and Lenel Input Modules.
The contractor will utilize the existing Enclosures and install the Lenel Head-In inside the
existing Enclosures. The contractor will utilize the existing power supplies that are being utilized
for the electronic locks. All cabling from the Head-In to the field devices will remain and will
be connected to the new Lenel Controllers & Modules. The contractor will provide new tower
sever for the Lenel OnGuard 32ES server software. The contractor will provide (2) OnGuard
Clients for administration and monitoring. The contractor will utilize the existing Workstations
and load the OnGuard Clients on the machines. The Client Workstations will need to be
upgraded to a minimum Windows 10 software. The VA can provide new workstations if
needed and the contractor can assist loading the OnGuard client onto the new workstations.

The contractor will assume that all field devices are in good working order and will NOT be
responsible for trouble-shooting field devices. If devices or equipment is not in good
working order, the contractor can trouble-shoot or replace defective equipment
under a modification to the original Scope of Work. All card holder information and
device naming conventions are the responsibility of the VA. The contractor will provide up to 4
hours of Lenel training as part of the scope of work.

The contractor will provide and install the equipment (or equal) listed below:

· (1) Lenel OnGuard 32ES Server Software License
· (1) OnGuard 32 Access Reader Upgrade license to expand the system to 64 reader
capacity.
· (1) Tower Server to install the OnGuard Server Software
· (1) OnGuard 32ESI Client Software (Workstation provided by client)
· (1) OnGuard 32ES Client Software (Workstation provided by client)
· (1) Lenel X2220 Intelligent Dual Reader Controller (installed in existing enclosure)
· (16) Lenel Dual Reader Interface Modules (installed in existing enclosure)
· (6) Lenel Input Control Modules (inputs for panic buttons. 96 available inputs
available). Input Modules will be installed in existing enclosure.
· (5) Altronix Power Supplies for Head-In controllers.

· The contractor will provide project management, testing, up to 4 hours training.

NOTE: All card holder information and database information provided and will be inputted
by client. The contractor must assume all field equipment (CR, Locks, REX, Panics, etc.) is in
good working order. The (2) Client workstations provided by client. Must
be Windows 10 or higher.
