Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government currently intends to award a base plus four one year options service contract to provide on-site maintenance support services for the Government Owned Hologic Mammography Dimensions 3D Performance System, Airfirm Breast Biopsy System, and Affirm Lateral Army Upright Biopsy. Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, CO, is seeking vendors that may be able to provide all resources, labor, travel, transportation, parts, materials, equipment, and management necessary to keep the medical equipment in good operating condition and to perform all scheduled/ unscheduled maintenance of the equipment in this requirement to support a competitive procurement. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all small socioeconomic category to participate if able. The proposed action is for Firm Fixed Price contract with Time and Materials line item for repairs.



This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this source sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, if a competitive solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government wide Point of Entry, if applicable. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Government wide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The NAICS code is: 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.



Table 1, attached to this SS has the list of equipment to performace maintenance.



In the response to this source sought, please provide the following information: Organizations name, address, email address, website address, business size and type of ownership for the organization; and tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this requirement. Interested parties submit their training certificate or proof they are trained on the equipment by Hologic. Failure to provide the requested training certificate or proof will be remove the interested party as a potential source in the Government decision to sole source or compete the requirement. Interested offereor will provide only technically qualified technicians who are trained to perform maintenance on the equipment in Table l and have a minimum of two years of experience working on the Hologic INC contracted equipment.





Interested Offeror shall respond to this Sources Sought Notice no later than 23 April 2024 at 10:00 A.M Mountain Standard Time. All interested businesses must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
