USPFO P&C- Texas is seeking four (4) Mobile Mock-up trainers to ensure best practices are being used and for the Safety of all Airborne personnel when conducting Airborne Sustainment Training before Airborne Operations. Additionally, this request is to procure, two (2) Lateral Drift Apparatuses and construction of a raised wooden deck for existing permanent mock-up site at Saginaw Aerial Delivery Support Facility #2. All training equipment will be delivered and installed by the manufacturer. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary.
1. Four Mobile mock-up aircraft frames to conduct airborne proficiency training. Mobile mock-up shall be fully mobile, with capability to be disassembled by the customer as a portable and not a permanent structure. It will include a container to store/transport all components and designed to be used as a Parachute Landing Fall (PLF) platform. Minimum dimensions, when erected, will be at least 8’W x 12’LX24” H.
2. Design and construct a 12’ x 42’X24”H wooden deck at Saginaw Aerial Delivery Support Facility #2 that the existing permanent mock-up at will be mounted on.
3. Two Lateral Drift Apparatus to be installed at the Saginaw site.
