Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to post the Q&As.

Question 1: Are you wanting everything delivered and assembled?

Answer 1: Assembly will not be required upon delivery.

Question 2: What is the building access like?

Answer 2: The building has double doors to provide easy access to the building.

Question 3: Do you have a loading dock?

Answer 3: No

Question 4: If there is no loading dock, are we able to park in front of the building the furniture would be going to, to unload?

Answer 4: Yes, you can park in front of the building

Question 5: Is the furniture to be delivered to the first floor? If above the first floor, is there an elevator available and is it passenger or freight?

Answer 5: The furniture needs to be delivered to the first floor so an elevator would not be necessary.

Question 6: Most manufacturers will be sending these items via a 53’ trailer direct to site. Do we need to include extra labor to assist with unloading?

Answer 6: If your quote requires extra labor assistance for unloading, please include an option for extra labor assistance.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; excluding modifications. This BRAND NAME OR EQUAL solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide KI Ruckus Furniture to Sheppard AFB, TX. See attached Combo KI Ruckus Furniture, for a detailed description and salient characteristics of the products sought in this solicitation. The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, Texas anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.

The applicable NAICS code is 337214, and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement is a 100% total set aside for small business concerns.

All documents including the solicitation and all amendments to the solicitation are obtainable via this notice. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments.

The solicitation will close at 10:00AM CST on 30 Mar 2023. All solicitations must be submitted via email to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below.

All questions must be submitted by 10:00 AM CST on 28 Mar 2023. All questions MUST be submitted in writing to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below as well.
