QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Question 1: Are all PMs due at the beginning of the contract?
Answer 1: No, the PMs will keep their current schedule. They are not all due at the beginning of the contract. Schedule can be provided at contract award if the vendor doesn t already have it.
Question 2: Can you clarify the requirement for software/hardware upgrades on Page 6, Section 5C? Updates are available, but no contract provides for the upgrades of equipment/software at no additional cost. Being that this equipment is older, the manufacturer will not be releasing any hardware upgrades for it. Can this language be amended to remove the word upgrade and also allow for the updates to be done during normal business hours?
Answer 2: This is referring to if an upgrade/update is required by the manufacturer for continued optimum operation of the equipment. We are not requiring updates if the equipment is functioning fine as is or in lieu of replacing end of life equipment. Revised Statement of Work is attached.
