This amendment is to change North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561621 – Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) with a size standard of $25 Million.

Synopsis:



THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.



The following work will be performed at the William M. Steger Federal Building and Courthouse; 211 W. Ferguson St., Tyler, TX 75702. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are Small Business concerns with the capabilities, qualifications, and interest to perform the work required. The scope of work includes the furnishing of all labor, supervision, equipment, material (unless otherwise noted) of all work requested for the upgrades to the Fire Protection System which includes Fire Alarm Replacement and Fire Sprinkler Retro-fit to both buildings at this location. Please note: This upgrade will require the prospective contractor to be fully licensed State Fire Alarm Contractor. Additional specific disciplines required for this project would include but not be limited to the following certifications. NICET Level III and Level IV: Fire Alarm Systems Designer, Fire Alarm Systems Technician, Registered Fire Protection Engineer, Automatic Sprinkler Systems Technician, etc.





The estimated cost range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561621 – Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) with a size standard of $25 Million. All offerors are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the sources sought, synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award.





In responding to this Sources Sought, please indicate your:



(1) Interest as a Small Business contractor to include any Small Business Concern classification such as Veteran-Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, HUBZone small business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns; (2) Brief Capabilities Statement (no more than 2 pages), that include meeting licensing requirements to perform the work in this project; (3) brief description of your firm’s past experience and qualifications completing historical restoration projects, and (4) a complete and current record of your System for Award Management (SAM – www.sam.gov) information which includes DUNS number, Organization name, address, contact name, email address, Web site address, telephone number, type of organization, and small business type(s). It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 365 calendar days to complete. Please note that there is no solicitation available at this time; the purpose of this announcement is to identify available sources only. Award of any resulting procurement will be based on a source selection employing a "Best Value Concept" methodology. Submit this information to the Contract Specialist listed below via e-mail only. No phone calls or faxes expressing interest will be accepted.
