Description

USDA APHIS PPQ has an upcoming requirement for 5-year, fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) supply contract for Pesticide Strips. These Pesticide Strips shall be delivered FOB Destination to PPQ’s facility located in Edinburg, TX. The USDA APHIS PPQ uses DDVP insecticide strips to capture certain species of exotic fruit flies that are of concern to U.S. agriculture. The insecticide strips are a primary surveillance tool used to detect populations of these pests. Without them, early detection, and efficient delimitation of introduced populations may not be possible, thus prolonging successful eradication efforts and increasing pest management costs to the USDA, its state cooperators, and producers of Medfly host commodities.

The Government intends to issue a small business set-aside RFQ solicitation to procure this supply. The applicable NAICS code is 325320 with a size standard of 1150 employees. The solicitation with complete details will be posted on or around 12/26/2023.
