The City of Arlington, Texas (the Owner) will accept proposal for River Legacy Park Trail Improvements Phases I & II and Sewer Main Replacement Project:
The Owner will receive sealed bids in the Board Room, Parks and Recreation Department, 717 West Main Street, Arlington, Texas at
10:00 A. M, Wednesday, Jan 17, 2024,
at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Anyone wishing to submit their bid prior to the above date may do so at the Reception Desk, Parks and Recreation Department. The mailing address is attn: Mitali Mandlekar, Parks Project Manager, City of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department, 717 W. Main St, Arlington, Texas 76013. Any bid received after closing time will be returned unopened. Please find bid response documents under "attachments" titled "Bid Response Documents Submittal". All forms must be filled out for bid to be responsive.
Scope of Work
includes
realignment
and
replacement
of
approximately
2.3
miles
of
existing
trail within
the
Trinity
River
Floodplain.
Project
limits
between
pedestrian
bridge
crossing
located
at the west
end
of the
park,
adjacent to
Greenbelt Road and the
pedestrian bridge crossing located at the
east
end
at
N.
Collins
St.
parking
lot.
Besides
replacing,
realigning,
and
widening
of
the
trail, the
project
includes
replacing
the
pedestrian
bridge
and
aerial
sanitary
sewer
crossing
located
at Snider
Creek
bridge
with
a
new
pedestrian
bridge
designed
to
sustain
vehicular
loads.
The
project also
includes
installation
of
a
new
pedestrian
bridge
crossing
at
another
location.
The
scope
of work
includes
replacing
approximately
2,857
linear
feet
of
6-inch
to
12-inch
sanitary
sewer
mains located
within
the
River
Legacy
Park.
The
project
scope
includes
landscape
improvements,
site improvements and construction of all supporting appurtenances.
The project has been assigned
MWBE GOAL of 26.30%
