The intent of this solicitation is soliciting bids from qualified, experienced, and licensed and certified pesticide applicator firms or individuals to establish an annual requirement contract for mosquito control services. The selected firm or individual will be responsible for providing complete, accurate, timely services and technically and scientifically sound deliverables. Categories are inclusive of mosquito surveillance, trap catch, or complaint based larviciding, targeted adulticide application, and reporting and record keeping. The Contractor shall be experienced and able to implement programs and services based on the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), and State of Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) guidelines for managing quality mosquito control programs.
The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically. If submitting a paper bid, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late bids will not be accepted.
