The City of Highland Village, Denton County, Texas is accepting sealed Requests for Proposals for Solid Waste & Recycling Services. The proposal documents may be obtained by request in person at City Hall, City of Highland Village, City Secretary's Office located at 1000 Highland Village Road, Highland Village, Texas 75077.
Sealed proposals should be addressed to City Secretary, City of Highland Village, 1000 Highland Village Road, Highland Village, Texas 75077 and shall be labeled “REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS SOLID WASTE & RECYCLING SERVICES”. Proposals shall be submitted no later than 2:00 PM CST on April 10, 2023. There will be NO formal opening of proposals upon submission..
A MANDATORY pre-proposal conference will be held on March 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM CST at the City Council Conference Room, located at 1000 Highland Village Road, Highland Village, Texas.

Special Requirements:

Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Proposal Bond in in the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($ 50,000.00) made payable to City of Highland Village of the proposal must accompany the proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposal deemed advantageous to it and waive informalities in the proposal process. All proposals received after the closing time designated will be returned unopened.

Miscellaneous:

|
During the period between the Request for Proposals, submission date, and the contract award, respondents including their agents and/or representatives/owners, shall not directly or indirectly promote their proposal or proposal to any member of the Highland Village City Council or City staff except in the course of City-sponsored inquires, briefings, interviews, and/or presentation requests. Violation of this provision may result in the rejection of the respondent’s Proposal Submittal.
The City of Highland Village reserves the right to accept or to reject any proposals, to waive technicalities and to make any investigation deemed necessary concerning the proposer’s ability to provide the services required, and to accept what in its judgment is the most advantageous proposal.
