Alief Independent School District is seeking proposals for Unit Costs for Foundation Repairs. Scope of work will vary by project and location throughout the District. Individual projects will be initiated by the Alief ISD Maintenance Department. Areas of work will be provided to awarded vendors who, using their expertise and experience in foundation repairs, will be responsible for the determination of the solution to resolve the foundation issues in the most satisfactory and cost effective method. The awarded vendor will then provide project costs based upon their proposed solution and utilizing the unit costs awarded in this RFP.

Electronic proposals will be received until the deadline, June 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM CST , after which time the names of vendors submitting proposals will be available. Your presence is not required. No faxed, emailed or late bids will be accepted. The District anticipates awarding this contract at the July 2023 school board meeting. Contract term shall be for one (1) year with an option for two (2) additional annual renewals.

Be advised that, as a Request for Proposal (RFP), this contract may be negotiated. However, pricing should be submitted as the vendor’s best and final offer. The District believes that the data contained in this RFP is sufficient for the preparation of responses to this RFP.

Requests for additional information or clarification on information contained in this RFP must be submitted via the Questions Tab within the electronic bid opportunity no later than 2 P.M. CST on 6/18/2023. Response to questions will be posted in the Questions Tab periodically. Alief ISD reserves the right to waive all formalities, to be the sole judge of quality and suitability and may reject any or all proposals.
