Project Overview and Scope: Alief Independent School District (“AISD,” “District,” “Owner) is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals from qualified proposers to provide construction services for a construction project located at LeRoy Crump Stadium 12321 High Star Dr, Houston, TX 77072. The project scope of work consists of Alief Independent School District is soliciting proposals for the purchase an LED Video

Scoreboard for the LeRoy Crump Football Stadium from a qualified Contractor. The preferred size is 40’ wide by 25’ tall but alternates are accepted. It must include a camera system with control boards, sound system with mixer and all microphone equipment. It must have associated warranties and services of the combined system. Bidders must provide technical and cost detailing of the solution to meet the requirements contained in this document.

Estimated Budget: The estimated budget for this project is $600,000.

Award/Contract Approval: This procurement, any award under this procurement, and the resulting contract, if any, is subject to approval by the AISD Board. Subsequent to required approval, the only person authorized to commit AISD contractually is the Superintendent or his designee. This solicitation is an invitation for sealed proposals and neither this solicitation nor the response or the proposal from any prospective proposer/contractor shall create a contractual relationship that would bind AISD until such time as both AISD and the selected proposer/contractor sign a legally binding contract, which includes, without limitation, the terms required by AISD.

Pre-Proposal Meeting: Pre-Proposal meeting agenda will include review of topics that may affect proper preparation and submittal of proposals and is scheduled for 10 a.m. on October 10, 2023 at Alief ISD Athletic Office, 12321 Alief Clodine Rd, Houston, TX 77072. Attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is not mandatory, but all proposers are highly encouraged to attend.
