The City of Georgetown is accepted sealed bids for the construction project: SH 29 Turn Lane Improvements.
The project consists of furnishing, installing and providing all labor and materials required for construction of a right turn lane on SH 29/University Avenue from IH-35 Northbound Frontage Road (NBFR) to the HEB driveway east of the IH-35 NBFR, installing a raised median from IH-35 NBFR to the traffic signal, adding appropriate pavement markings, and a sidewalk on the north side along the right-turn lane in Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas. Overall project limits extend from the IH-35 NBFR to 0.17 miles east of the IH-35 NBFR and miscellaneous items, as more fully described in the Drawings
Bids may be electronically submitted through the City E-bid system accessible via City’s web site at

at 2:00 PM
and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
Sealed bids may be received by the City of Georgetown in the Georgetown Municipal Complex, Purchasing Department, at 300-1 Industrial Avenue, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
Plans, specifications and bidding documents may be secured beginning Monday, February 13, 2023.

It is the bidder’s responsibility to determine that a complete set of documents as defined in the Instructions to Bidders is received.
Bidders submitting bids through the E-bid System shall scan and up-load a copy of their Bid Security (sealed Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier’s Check ) as an attachment to their electronic bid. Original documents for Bid Security will be requested by the City from the lowest two bidders and delivered to the City’s Purchasing Buyer within 48 business hours of the Bid Opening.
