PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to establish a competitive proposal for Plano ISD Food and Nutritional Services (FANS). This RFP includes but not limited to the purchase of:

•Frozen/Refrigerated Products
•Canned/Shelf Stable Products
•Beverages
•Disposable and Other Essential Products
A listing of specific items to be proposed upon is provided with this solicitation. They are sorted by manufacturer name. Attached is an excel spreadsheet for all line items and commodity items. TO REPLY YOU MUST ENTER PRICING IN LINE ITEMS TAB. Excel spreadsheet pricing will not be accepted.
This is a proposal process, terms or prices may be negotiated. Any negotiable criteria will be established and notifications will be made to potential contractors.

ANNUAL EXPENDITURE: The estimated expenditure for this contract is approximately $12,500,000.00 per year. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon actual needs and available funding. This estimated expenditure may be exceeded by 10% annually.
TERM: The term of this contract will begin on July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. One additional one (1) year extensions will be available for a possible total length of contract to be approximately two (2) years if agreed to in writing by both parties.
All pricing shall be firm and calculable at the time of sale during the life of the contract and must conform and comply with the proposed pricing in response to the original solicitation.
This proposal may be awarded to one or multiple vendors by line item, section or package as determined to be best value to the District.

Initial Contract Period: July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024

Contract YR2 (Option): July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025
