United Independent School District is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals for a turnkey site development and construction of a new Food Production Center, storage, distribution and administrative complex for United ISD.


Project Allowances:


No. 1 Contingency Allowance: $4,000,000.00

No. 2 Landscape & Irrigation Allowance: $150,000.00

No. 3 Door and Security/Safety Hardware Allowance: $250,000.00

No. 4 Technology and Security Infrastructure and Access Control $198,000.00 (As per Addendum 1)


There is no requirement to submit online. Your submission must include one (1) ORIGINAL and seven (7) copies of your proposal clearly labeled in sections as per the evaluation tool herein. You may mail or hand deliver your submission to 3501 E. Saunders Street Laredo, Texas 78041. Your submission must be sealed and labeled with the CSP name and number outside the box/envelope.


Project Documents may be obtained upon receipt of $100.00 for each project set, from the United ISD Service Center - Purchasing Department, 3501 E. Saunders, Laredo, Texas 78041. Accepted forms of payment include cashier's check, money order or company check (no personal checks will be accepted). Checks are to be payable to United ISD. Deposits will be refunded for each complete set of documents (including addenda) received by the United ISD Purchasing Office in good reusable condition within 10 days after the proposal award date. Shipping and handling of the documents are at the contractor's expense.

On Sheet A3.02, 9,10,11/A3.02, Mosaic Pattern of Different Wall Tile Indicated. However, No Percentage or Height or Hatch Provided. For Now, These Pattern Have been Estimated by Taking Heights of each Tile.

As per Elevation 04/A9.03, CWT-6 & CWT-9 Wall Tile Indicated on Countertop with reference to 10/A3.02. However, Elevation 10/A3.02 Indicates CWT-5, CWT-6, CWT-9, CWT-8, CWT-7 Wall Tile at 23’11” Height which does not match the height of countertop. For Now, CWT-6 & CWT-9 Combine Layer Estimated.
Please clarify.
