It is our understanding from the pre-bid meeting that call buttons are to reuse existing conductors for the existing non-Valcom systems, in lieu of running new cable, and that of the cable is defective or hinders normal operation of the non-Valcom system, that replacing this cable will be a change order. Is this correct? If not, what is the protocol to follow for this scenario?

Yes, a change order/quote will be needed. No work outside of the original PO should be done until another PO is provided based on the change order/quote.

Kevin Bentley is the main point of contact. However, other contacts will be provided for custodial supervisors to make sure someone is in the building at same time contractors are in the building.
