The Board of Trustees of the Fort Worth Independent School District (“FWISD”) hereby serves notice that it will accept sealed bids for the lease of the following real property and mineral rights (“Property”):


Properties owned by Fort Worth ISD for lease are as follows:


Legal Description:


A 14.48-acre tract of land, more or less, out of the E. Wilburn Survey, A-1679 and the H. Covington Survey, A-256, Tarrant County, Texas, being the Westpark Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Volume 388-26, Page 37 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas being more particularly described in that certain General Warranty Deed from Sharpstown Leasing Company, Ltd. to Fort Worth Independent School District recorded in Volume 13589, Page 148 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas.


The Board of Trustees has determined that the Property should be leased for no less than 25% royalties to be retained by Fort Worth ISD of the total (“Royalty Amount”). The Property will be leased to the highest bidder who submits a sealed bid that is greater than or equal to the Royalty Amount. All bids must include a proof of funds letter from the bidder’s financial institution stating that the bidder has sufficient cash funds available for the bid amount and/or to operate a potential well at the proposed site.


The period of performance will be determined by the agreed upon and executed contract.

Notice is hereby given that the Fort Worth Independent School District, acting by and through its Governing Board, will receive Request for Competitive Sealed Bids for LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY AND MINERAL RIGHTS (RFCSB No. 23-102) until 5:00 p.m. (CT), Thursday, March 23, 2023, in the Procurement Services Department. The Request for Solicitation may be obtained at https://fwisd.ionwave.net/CurrentSourcingEvents.aspx. The Fort Worth Independent School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses and to waive any irregularities, technicalities, or informalities in any solicitation or in the solicitation process.
