The intent of this bid is to secure the cost for Event T-shirts with heat transfer or silkscreened designs and/or lettering. In order to be responsive, vendor must have a storefront location within 30 miles of Irving City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd., Irving, TX 75060.



Any questions or requests for clarification should be submitted under the questions tab in this online solicitation. The questions will be shared with the department after the end of the cut-off date/time and will be posted as soon as they are received from the department. If the responses necessitate a significant change to the specifications, an addendum will be issued.



The City of Irving strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically. Please call the individual listed on the bid if you require assistance with this submittal. I have a quick question.

We were asked to bid on t-shirts but it says we have to have a storefront within a 30-mile radius of Irving TX. We do not. I assume that disqualifies us, correct?

When is the anticipated award date?
Answer The department is hoping to complete the award as soon as possible. We can not give an exact date due to the process and procedures to follow to be able to award the bid.

For each recreation center to have its own color, is the color difference in the design or the shirt itself?
Answer The color difference will only be in the shirt.

Are there also any sample designs for the other events?
Answer Previous Summer Games logo is attached. Other designs vary depending on events offered each year.

Specifications for bid show just the design for Summer Adventure Camp and it appears to be a 2 color front design.
Specifications indicate 4 to 6 plus a back print.
What are all the colors for the front and is there a sample of the design for the back?
Answer We ask for a larger spec due to the camp design may change and include more than 2 colors. The design shown was a sample and could change in the future. This was the standard amount we have requested in the past.

Answer Yes, We do need a standing location whether it be a warehouse or office within 30 miles.

Question
This bid specifies that the vendor must have a “store front”. Since we don’t sell to the general public we don’t operate out of a typical store front. We sell business to business and have a private office in Mesquite (20 miles away) and our shirts are printed offsite about 16 miles away from our office. Is this OK?
Answer As long as the shirts are printed and there is an office within 30 miles, this should be fine. We ask for a store front or some type of standing location.
