Intent - It is the intent of these specifications to award a two-year contract for Fleet Fuel card services to be used by various city departments at offsite fueling locations within the state of Texas.

8. Our company is incorporated in the state of Maryland and we are DBE certified in Texas but do not have a business license in Texas. We would like to find out if we would be allowed to bid on this job and should we win, we can apply for all the necessary licences before the contract is officially awarded.

7.        If we are to use OPIS, I understand your requirement of Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) each Thursday but what location OPIS should be the benchmark pricing?
Answer On the pricing page, please just include Mark up pricing only. The location shall be DFW.

“Right to do Business in Texas - INCLUDE IN YOUR RESPONSE THE CONTACT INFORMATION OF CERTIFYING OFFICIAL'S NAME, TITLE, PHONE NUMBER AND E-MAIL ADDRESS.
As required by 2252.903, Government Code, respondent's official certifies and acknowledges that its Texas franchise tax payments are current, or that it is exempt from, or not subject to, such tax. If claiming an exemption or not subject to franchise tax, an explanation must be provided,” for a company that has not previously done business in Texas and hence has no Texas tax payments, how can this be handled?
