The intent of these specifications is to award a service contract for mobile window tint services for automotive and heavy vehicles on an as needed basis for the City's Fleet Vehicles. All services must be performed at the City of Irving Fleet Services Facility, 128 N. Briery Irving, TX 75061.

What is the level of tint being requested by the city?
Answer

If you are referring to the percentage to tinting darkness; the City of Irving is required to follow state regulation Transportation Code, Title 7. Subtitle C. Chapter 547. Subchapter A. under 547.613 Restrictions on Windows. Each tinting application will vary from 5% to 70%, per department and vehicle based on these regulations.
