Addendum 1 is issued to modify, clarify, explain or correct the original specifications and to answer questions and is hereby made part of ITB No. 171D-23F.


The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all tools, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary to demolish building structures, flatwork, and other on site improvements and grade and stabilize the site to complete this project at the following locations in the City of Irving:


226 Falcon Street

Demo building - foundation, fencing, parking area and sidewalks up to the city sidewalk or approach.

Answer Your response must be submitted online prior to the stated due date and time. The Zoom bid opening is for the reading of submitted bids, not for you to state your bid price.

Page 4 #11 states that "THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PRESERVE ALL EXISTING PAVEMENT, SHOULDERS, DRIVEWAYS AND SIDEWALKS. THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF THE SAID ITEMS SHALL ONLY BE DEEMED NECESSARY IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT " however in the walk through it was stated that all concrete goes including the parking lot. Is all concrete to be removed? Thank you.
Answer The private parking area within the fence, including the fence not adjacent to residential properties, will be removed. City sidewalks are to be preserved.
