Intent - It is the intent of these specifications to award an annual contract for purchasing fueling additives, unleaded gasoline, diesel, and/or biodiesel fuels for the City of Irving.

Question
Diesel fuel in order to be compliant with the TCEQ on their manifest only have to state this product may or contains up to 5% bio as an additive to make it TxLED Diesel. They do not have to disclose it as an animal or plant based bio product an under TCEQ rule it is defined as a 100% diesel is that acceptable?
Answer Yes, this is acceptable.

Question
State of Texas TCQE defines a pure diesel product when up to a 5% additive of Bio Diesel is classified the same as Diesel 100% with the bio additive included in the makeup. Will the City accept that as a pure Diesel product?
Answer Yes, the city will accept.
