Lewisville Independent School District is seeking a company to provide, as an independent contractor, on-site behavior classroom operation and professional development services for behavior staff. The service provider(s) will set-up, manage, and staff on-site behavior classroom operations as well as provide professional development for behavior staff. The classrooms will be operated and staffed by the awarded independent contractor. These classrooms are for students with behavioral special needs requiring specialized teaching and care.

This proposal is being issued in accordance with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR) Part 200 to procure a vendor(s) who provides goods and/or services purchased by LISD using federal dollars. This proposal may be used by local, state, federal and grant funded programs. Due to the specific state and federal legal sole source requirements related to sole source providers, which the District must adhere to, all interested vendors including sole source providers, are highly encouraged to respond to this request for proposal.

On-site behavior classroom operation and professional development services for behavior staff shall be awarded, at district discretion. This RFP, if awarded, will be awarded to vendor(s) determined to be the best value to the District. An award notice will be sent after approval by the LISD Board of Trustees. Each responding vendor(s) shall be qualified in their field of business and hold any and all required certifications or licenses required by the State of Texas to perform their specific job duties.

The initial term of this proposal shall be for approximately two years with two successive two year renewal options based on the long-range needs of the District and mutual consent of both parties, and contingent on approval by the LISD Board of Trustees.

Initial Term: May 2024 - May 2026

Tentative Second Renewal: May 2026 - May 2028

Tentative Final Renewal May 2028 - May 2030
