Lewisville Independent School District (“LISD,” “District”) is requesting proposals for a commission-based Snack Vending Machine and Related Services Agreement, beginning immediately upon approval of LISD’s Board of Trustees, for the 2023-2024 school year. The products involved include food and snack items that meet the State and Federal mandates for Smart Snack compliance. If items are to be sold during the instructional day, items must meet Smart Snack compliance regulations. If items are not going to be sold during the instructional day (recognized as 30 minutes after the final class period concludes to 11:59 p.m.), items are not required to be Smart Snack compliant. Commission-based financial support, in an amount necessary to achieve District education goals, is desired. Vendors shall submit the financial support information offered in their proposals for each District location served. This is a supplemental bid to RFP 2562-18.
**A response to this RFP is not necessary if you have already been awarded on RFP #2562(A)-18 which was renewed in August 2023.
This agreement would not include the provision of any beverages, as LISD has an Exclusive Beverage Agreement with a single provider.
All responses to this RFP shall be for a five-year (5) agreement, which will extend from school year 2023-2024 to school year 2027-2028, based on the long-range needs of the District and mutual consent of both parties, not to exceed five (5) years total. Effective date of contract will begin upon Board approval. This bid will run coterminous with Renewal of RFP 2562(A)-18. Additional Vendors may be awarded in subsequent years for terms that are coterminous with this agreement. Additional Vendors will be subject to all of the terms, conditions, scope of work, and all other relevant factors in this RFP.
