Lewisville Independent School District is accepting proposals for an online library management system. The district's current library management system operates as a district union catalog. It has 67 campus library sites, serving a population of over 49,000 and a dedicated staff exceeding 6,000. LISD recognizes the importance of an efficient library management system to facilitate organization and accessibility and is looking for a vendor to provide a program solution.
All interested vendors, including sole source providers, are encouraged to respond to this request for proposal in its entirety and should submit all required bid attachments regardless of sole source status to be considered. The evaluation criteria of incomplete proposals will be impacted by missing or incomplete information. The Online Library Public Access Management System shall be awarded at District discretion, and may be awarded to one or multiple vendors determined to be the best value to the District.
The initial term of this proposal shall be from September 2024 - August 2026. There will be two successive renewal options, each consisting of a two year term, based on the long-range needs of the District and mutual consent of both parties, and contingent on approval by the LISD Board of Trustees.
Initial Term: September 2024 - August 2026
Tentative Second Term - Renewal Option: September 2026 - August 2028
Tentative Third Term - Renewal Option: September 2028 - August 2030
